New Microsoft campus on 60000 sq mtr to come up at Sector 145 on Expressway
Noida: The Noida authority on Thursday allotted a plot spanning over 60,000 square metre to Microsoft India (R&D) private limited in sector-145 at a premium of ₹103.66 crore. The investment by Microsoft will create employment opportunities for 3,000 people in Nolida, said officials aware of the development.
Officials from the Noida authority said plots A-01 and A-02 have been allotted to the company under IT/ITES category. “As per the agreement, the company will have to deposit 40% of the amount to furnish the sale deed within a month. The rest of the amount shall be paid in eight half yearly instalments. The allotment letter has been issued to the company,” said Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of Noida authority.
Maheshwari said the company will soon share a detailed project report. “They have informed that they will invest ₹3,000 crore in the project which will provide job opportunities to 3,000 people. We will soon hold a meeting and share more details,” she said.
Officials said the investment will make Noida a software hub and also encourage other private players to invest in the region. Maheshwari said some other private companies and academic institutions have also put in requests for land allotment. Officials have not shared any information regarding date of construction project and estimated date of completion.
A response from Microsoft India is awaited on this development.
Meanwhile, the Noida authority has also allotted 11,683 square metres-land to Shiv Shiksha Samiti for ₹24.6 crore for development of a higher secondary school in sector-145.

Two more data centres may come up in the region, officials said. With recent announcements by Yotta to set up 20- acre data centres in Noida.
As per ANAROCK Research, Noida and Greater Noida are likely to see new data centre supply of approximately 2.3 million sq. ft. area with nearly 260 MW of IT power capacity over the next three years with total investments to the tune of nearly $ 1.3 billion.
Given shifts in the economy, one would continue to see data consumption increase manifold for the foreseeable future, real estate experts said.
The announcement by Global Tech Player NTT to set up data centre in India strengthens India’s play in the data centre business.
Another report had said that an additional 9.3 million sq ft of real estate space is expected to be developed by 2025 for the rapidly growing data centre industry at an investment of about ₹7,700 crore.
The data centre industry is expected to add 703 MW capacity by the end of 2025, translating into an opportunity of 9.3 million sq ft of real estate development, a report by JLL had said.
One major factor encouraging the establishment of a slew of data centres in Greater Noida and Noida is the sound infrastructure initiatives taken up in this belt in Uttar Pradesh, said Devi Shankar, President – Industrial & Logistics, Data Centres, ANAROCK Capital.

फार्मूला वन रेस में दिलचस्पी रखने वाले लोगों के लिए बड़ी खबर है। ग्रेटर नोएडा में यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे (Yamuna Expressway) पर देश का इकलौता फॉर्मूला वन रेसिंग ट्रैक बुद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट (Buddh International Circuit) एक बार फिर शुरू होगा। इस मुद्दे को लेकर जल्दी ही यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे औद्योगिक विकास प्राधिकरण (Yamuna Authority) और बीआईसी का निर्माण करने वाली कंपनी के बीच बातचीत होने जा रही है। पहले केंद्र सरकार और कंपनी के बीच करों से जुड़ा विवाद और फिर कंपनी का बोर्ड भंग हो जाने के कारण सर्किट बंद पड़ा हुआ है। अब जेवर में नोएडा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट (Jewar Airport) के चलते सर्किट की प्रासंगिकता बढ़ गई है।
केंद्र और राज्य सरकार दिल्ली से लेकर वाराणसी तक टूरिज्म कोरिडोर का विकास कर रही हैं। जिसके लिए जेवर अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई के इर्द-गिर्द ऐसे स्थानों को चिन्हित किया जा रहा है, जो यहां आने वाले पर्यटकों के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र बन सकें। इनमें ग्रेटर नोएडा का बुद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है। बड़ी बात यह है कि सर्किट पूरी तरह तैयार है और इसे दोबारा शुरू करने के लिए किसी भी तरह के निवेश की आवश्यकता नहीं है। सर्किट पर तीन एफ वन रेस का आयोजन भी किया जा चुका है। अब यमुना प्राधिकरण इसे दोबारा शुरू करने का विचार कर रहा है। जेवर में इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट काम शुरू होने के साथ ही यमुना प्राधिकरण बुद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट को दोबारा शुरू करने की योजना पर भी काम शुरू करेगा। यमुना प्राधिकरण के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी डॉक्टर अरुण वीर सिंह का कहना है कि बुद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट यमुना प्राधिकरण क्षेत्र की महत्वकांक्षी परियोजना है। इसे दोबारा शुरू करने के लिए जल्दी कंपनी के साथ बातचीत की जाएगी।
पांच रेस का करार हुआ लेकिन तीन हो पाईं
जेपी इंफ्राटेक और एफ वन के बीच बुद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट पर पांच रेस आयोजित करने का करार हुआ था। यह करार वर्ष 2009 में किया गया था। अक्टूबर 2011 में पहली रेस का आयोजन किया गया। उसके बाद वर्ष 2012 और 2013 में दूसरी और तीसरी रेस हुई थीं। इसके बाद मनोरंजन कर को लेकर विवाद उत्पन्न हो गया और बाकी 2 रेसों का आयोजन नहीं किया जा सका। यह करार अभी भी लागू है। 5140 मीटर लंबे सर्किट को विश्वविख्यात जर्मन रेस ट्रैक डिजाइनर हरमन टिलके ने डिजाइन किया था। करीब 12 हजार करोड़ रुपये में बने ट्रैक का उद्घाटन 18 अक्टूबर 2011 को किया गया था। लखनऊ से तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री मायावती ने इसका शुभारंभ किया था। बीआईसी पर 3 फॉर्मूला वन रेस का आयोजन हुआ। तीनों सेबेस्टियन वेटल और उनकी टीम रेड बुल रेसिंग ने जीती थीं।

6/कोल्ड चेन और पैकेजिंग का काम करने के लिए भी प्लटेफार्म तैयार किए जाएंगे.
7/ट्रांसपोर्ट हब जिले में पहले से मौजूद बोड़ाकी रेलवे स्टेशन पर बनेगा. इसी स्टेशन के दूसरी तरफ इंटर स्टेट बस टर्मिनल (आईएसबीटी) का निर्माण भी किया जाएगा.
8/इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत लगभग 800 एकड़ में इंटीग्रेटेड इंडस्ट्रियल टाउनशिप बसाई जाएगी.

The master plan of the proposed Noida International Airport at Jewar was sent to the Airports Authority of India on Tuesday. About a week ago the developer company Zurich Airport International AG submitted the master plan to Noida International Airport Company Limited. The master plan has been sent to the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Its technical testing is expected to take about a month.
Yamuna Authority Chief Executive Officer Dr. Arunveer Singh said that the master plan of Noida International Airport was submitted to Niall by Zurich Airport International AG last week. The developer company has prepared a four-phase master plan to the airport. It includes terminal building, commercial, hotel, office, education training center, cargo facility and vehicle parking etc. Apart from this, facilities for maintenance, repair, overhauling will also be developed. The Delhi-Varanasi high speed train station will be built in the terminal building itself.
Dr. Arunvir Singh said that Noida International Airport Limited does not have a team of experts to conduct technical examination of the master plan, so the master plan has been sent to the Ministry of Civil Aviation for technical testing. The master plan will return after testing. Then the Yamuna Authority and Niall will be placed on the board.
Delhi-Varanasi High Speed Rail Station to be in Terminal Building

Microsoft leases about 1.5 lakh sq ft office space at KP Tower in Noida

Tech giant Microsoft has signed a lease deal for nearly 150,000 sq ft of premium office space at KP Tower in Noida through co-working operator WeWork, two persons aware of the deal said.

Max Estates, the property arm of Max Group, is in the process of acquiring this prime commercial complex at the Delhi-Noida border through the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) resolution process for Rs 550 crore, which will be paid to the debtors in tranches over four years.
There are already four operational towers in the complex; one serviced apartment tower and four commercial towers are under construction.
“Because of its location, which is close to Delhi and Noida Expressway, the rentals here are almost at par with grade A assets in Gurgaon. The remaining part of the project has been taken over by Max Group,” said one person aware of the deal.
Earlier this year, Microsoft had announced the launch of the India Development Centre (IDC) in Noida and had signed an agreement with the UttarPradesh government.
WeWork and Microsoft declined to comment on the deal.
“The deal has been signed at Rs 111 per sq ft, although the rental in Noida ranges between Rs 60-80 per sq ft,” said another person.
Microsoft is also in talks to lease over 1.2 million sq ft office space in Bengaluru.
The company currently occupies 550,000 sq ft in Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru.
Microsoft India has been on an expansion spree and leasing more office space in the last two years to house its growing employee population.
The software giant has operations in 11 cities in India and employs about 8,000 people across the country.
According to property consultants, demand for office spaces in Noida has been on a high growth trajectory after availability dwindled in the national capital.
“Commercial realty market is witnessing an upward trend and more and more buyers and investors are showing their interest in it because the commercial asset class has performed much better than the residential sector over the last few years,” said AjayRakheja, national head, 360 Realtors-Commercial.
Lower rent, new supply and infrastructure development have boosted demand in Noida’s key sectors such as sectors 16 and 62 and NoidaExpressway.
