The United Nations Sunday officially invited Uttar Pradesh’s Noida and Greater Noida to become a member of its initiative which aims to create 25 model cities across the world that will be fully compliant with the sustainable development goals by 2025, officials said.

The twin-cities in Gautam Buddh Nagar district, adjoining the national capital, have been selected in the “University City” category ahead of Mumbai and Bengaluru, which were also under UN consideration for the initiative, as the only invitee from India, a senior UN official said.

ग्रेटर नोएडा, जेएनएन। जेवर इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट के चारों ओर आधुनिक शहर के विकास का खाका तैयार हो गया है। यह क्षेत्र प्राधिकरण के पहले से विकसित हो रहे शहर का पूरक होगा। अर्नेस्ट एंड यंग ने सोमवार को यमुना प्राधिकरण में एयरपोर्ट सिटी पर प्रस्तुतीकरण दिया। एयरपोर्ट सिटी का खाका विश्व के कई देशों में एयरपोर्ट के आसपास बसे शहरों से प्रेरित होकर तैयार किया गया है। यमुना प्राधिकरण की आगामी बोर्ड बैठक में एयरपोर्ट सिटी का प्रस्ताव शामिल किया जाएगा। बोर्ड की मंजूरी के बाद इसे शासन के पास अनुमोदन के लिए भेजा जाएगा।

मौजूदा व नया शहर होगा एक दूसरे का पूरक
यमुना प्राधिकरण क्षेत्र में जेवर के नजदीक इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट बनने जा रहा है। प्राधिकरण एयरपोर्ट के आस पास आधुनिक सुविधाओं से परिपूर्ण शहर को बसाने की तैयारी कर रहा है। यह शहर एयरपोर्ट के चारों ओर करीब डेढ़ हजार से दो हजार हेक्टेयर जमीन पर विकसित किया जाएगा। इसकी रूपरेखा सलाहकार एजेंसी अर्नेस्ट एंड यंग ने तैयार की है।

तीन जोन में होगा शहर

एयरपोर्ट सिटी तीन जोन में विकसित होगी। एयरपोर्ट के नजदीक तीन किमी के दायरे में यात्री व कार्गो से जुड़ी गतिविधियों के लिए ढांचा तैयार होगा। इसके आगे सात किमी के दायरे में राजस्व बढ़ाने से जुड़ी गतिविधियां होंगी। 12 किमी के दायरे में रिहायशी के साथ-साथ लोगों की जरूरत को पूरा करने वाली गतिविधियों का ढांचा तैयार होगा, जहां अन्य जरूरी सुविधाएं मुहैया कराई जाएंगी।

यमुना प्राधिकरण एयरपोर्ट के सीईओ डा. अरुणवीर सिंह ने बताया कि के आस पास आधुनिक सुविधाओं से परिपूर्ण शहर विकसित करने की योजना है। इसकी रूपरेखा तैयार हो चुकी है। बोर्ड की मंजूरी के बाद इसे शासन के पास अनुमोदन के लिए भेजा जाएगा।

इस फैसले से सिर्फ 15 मिनट में तय होगी UP-हरियाणा की दूरी, लाखों लोगों को होगा लाभ

नई दिल्ली/नोएडा [कुंदन तिवारी]। दिल्ली स्थित इंदिरा गांधी इंटरनेशनल (Indira Gandhi international) एयर पोर्ट को उत्तर प्रदेश के जेवर अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे से सीधे जोड़ने की तैयारी शुरू हो गई है। इसके लिए एयरपोर्ट प्राधिकरण (Air port authority) और नोएडा प्राधिकरण (Noida authority) के साथ मिलकर एक ऐसा कॉरिडोर विकसित करने की दिशा पर काम करने जा रहा है, जिससे जेवर इंटर नेशनल एयर पोर्ट (Jewar Inter international Airport) को अधिक-अधिक शहरों के साथ सीधे जोड़ा जा सके।

टोल ब्रिज कंपनी के साथ जल्द होगी बैठक
इसके लिए सेक्टर-150 और सेक्टर-168 में यमुना पर हरियाणा की तरफ दो पुल बनाया जाना है। इसके निर्माण की जिम्मेदारी टोल ब्रिज कंपनी को दी जा सकती है। निर्माण लागत निकलने के बाद पुल प्राधिकरण को हस्तांतरित कर दिया जाएगा। इसको लेकर टोल ब्रिज कंपनी के साथ प्राधिकरण की जल्द बैठक होने जा रही है।

दोनों पुलों के निर्माण में 900 करोड़ रुपये होंगे खर्च
बता दें कि इस कॉरिडोर के रास्ते में दिल्ली का जाम बाधक न बने। ऐसे में फरीदाबाद-गुरुग्राम के रास्ते नोएडा-ग्रेटर नोएडा में सीधे प्रवेश की संभावनाओं पर काम किया जा रहा है। नोएडा प्राधिकरण की ओर से यमुना पुल के ऊपर से प्रस्तावित दो पुलों (पहला सेक्टर-150 व दूसरा सेक्टर-168) के बनने की संभावनाएं अब प्रबल हो चुकी हैं। दोनों पुलों के निर्माण में करीब 900 करोड़ रुपये का खर्च आएगा।

लगाया जा सकता दोनों पुलों पर टोल टैक्स
सेक्टर-168 के पुल का निर्माण के लिए केंद्र व राज्य सरकार को पत्र लिखा जा चुका है, जबकि सेक्टर-150 का निर्माण टोल ब्रिज कंपनी से करवाने का विचार किया जा रहा है। प्राधिकरण ने बताया कि इस पुल बनने से उत्तर प्रदेश व हरियाणा के बीच की दूरी महज 15 मिनट की रह जाएगी। ऐसे में यदि इस पर टोल लगाया जाता है तो मुसाफिरों को कोई घाटा नहीं होगा।

रिंग रोड की तरह काम करेगा कोरिडोर
यह कॉरिडोर नोएडा, ग्रेटर नोएडा व फरीदाबाद को जोड़ेगा। एक्सप्रेस-वे पर सेक्टर-150 से होते हुए एक पुल यमुना किनारे बसे गांव अमीपुर तक जाएगा। इसके बाद एक सड़क फरीदाबाद के कबूलपुर, शिकारगाह गांव के पास से ग्रेटर नोएडा के लिए बनाई जाएगी। पुल से फरीदाबाद सेक्टर-95 के आउटर रोड तक एक 90 मीटर चौड़ी सड़क बनाई जाएगी, जो राजपुर कला, तिलोरी खाद आदि गांव के पास से होते हुए अलीपुर शिकारगाह तक पहुंचेगी। इसके अलावा नोएडा के सेक्टर-168 से फरीदाबाद के महावतपुर और लालपुर गांव पर आकर एक यमुना पुल और समाप्त होगा।

आइजीआइ एयरपोर्ट आएगा और करीब
इन दोनों पुलों के बनने के बाद फरीदाबाद से नोएडा व ग्रेटर फरीदाबाद की दूरी चंद मिनटों की रह जाएगी। इन दोनों पुलों को जोड़ने के लिए भी रिवाजपुर गांव के पास से महावतपुर गांव के ऊपर से लालपुर तक करीब छह किलोमीटर की एक 90 मीटर चौड़ी सड़क बनाई जाएगी। यह फरीदाबाद की बाइपास रोड से कनेक्ट होगी, इस रास्ते सेक्टर-89 के पास वजीरपुर गांव के रास्ते सेक्टर-28 में फिर बड़खल फ्लाईओवर से सीधे सूरजकुंड रोड से जुड़ेगी और मानव रचना शिक्षण संस्थान चौराहे से गुरुग्राम इफ्को चौक या शंकर चौक तक पहुंच जाएगी। यहां से आइजीआइ एयरपोर्ट काफी पास है।

कई राज्य के लोगों को होगा लाभ
केके अग्रवाल (महाप्रबंधक (सिविल), नोएडा प्राधिकरण) के मुताबिक, यमुना पर पुलों के निर्माण को लेकर केंद्र व राज्य सरकार के साथ बातचीत चल रही है। टोल ब्रिज कंपनी को निर्माण कार्य सौंपने की योजना है, इससे निर्माण का आर्थिक बोझ नहीं पड़ेगा। कई राज्यों के लोगों को सुविधा भी मिल जाएगी।

The Gautam Budh Nagar administration will start the takeover process of the property earmarked for Jewar International Airport and complete the rehabilitation and resettlement process of 1,700 families within a week, officials said.

Starting next week, the administration will start acquiring land in areas where people are not currently residing. The administration has already distributed around Rs 1,500 crore as compensation to landowners and another Rs 1,300 crore is yet to be disbursed.

“Over 50% compensation disbursement for the airport land is complete and the rest will be done soon. By next week, we will start taking possession of the land from owners. Our aim is to hand over the maximum land to the Authority by August 31,” said B N Singh, district magistrate.

Singh explained that around 80% of the land is not occupied and does not have any habitation. The administration will initially take over this portion of the property and hand it over to the Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) that will hand it over to the contractor who will build the airport.

“We are initially focusing on this large chunk as it is undisputed and will be easily acquired by August 31. This will also help the Authority in starting work at the earliest,” said Singh.

The remaining 20% of land is a part of inhabited village areas. This is also the area where farmers have been protesting regarding the compensation rates. People living in these areas will have to be relocated and the process may take longer. A 50-hectare plot on Aligarh road has been identified for the relocation of families from six villages where land will be acquired for the airport.

The Jewar international airport will be developed over 5,000 hectares of land, of which 1,334 hectares will be acquired in Phase 1 by August 31.

“The first phase of the airport will be developed on a straight horizontal patch, perpendicular to the
Yamuna Expressway
. The airport will be 5.8 kilometres ahead of the Jewar toll plaza, while arriving from Delhi or Noida. This section also has very few inhabited areas and will be easily acquired within the expected time,” said Arunvir Singh, chief executive officer of NIAL and YEIDA.
